Wednesday - Roasted Chicken in Crockpot (Fingers Crossed)

Thursday - Apt Friendly Pizza

Friday - Lasagna and Garlic Bread

Shopping List for me:

  • Fruits, Veg, Herbs - italian basil, plum tomatoes, napa cabbage
  • Dairy, Fruit Juice - unsalted butter, tofu
  • Baking - cupcake liner, all purpose flour, sugar, icing, cornmeal
  • Freezer - can french bread dough
  • Meats, Poultry, Fish, Deli - clams (can okay too), sirloin steak, roasting chicken, pancetta
  • Breads - sliced loaf
  • Other - breakfast oatmeal, dry white wine, veg. broth, chix broth

Addtl Shopping List:

  • Fruits, Veg, Herbs - garlic, scallions, ginger, red pepper, carrots, baby spinach, spinach
  • Spices - crushed red pepper, sesame seed, salt, black pepper, ground hot pepper, paprika
  • Condiments - soy sauce, sesame oil, veg oil, rice vinegar, white miso, tomato sauce
  • Dairy, Fruit Juice - parmesan cheese, mozarella cheese, ricotta cheese
  • Freezer - shelled edamame,
  • Meats, Poultry, Fish, Deli - medium shrimp, prosciutto
  • Breads, Pasta, Rice - fresh linguine, short grain rice, no boil lasagna noodles
  • Other - olive oil
Notes for the week:
1. I prefer a more traditional clam sauce, maybe with a little cream.  That said, the Monday recipe wasn't bad.
2. Cupcakes, that was tough.  Do not subsitute plain sugar with granular sugar.  I will try next week for Sydney's birthday cupcakes.
3. One good thing I did this week was use up the basil later in the week for the Apt. Pizza, which wasn't bad.  However, will I ever find a really good pre-made thin crust?
4. I skipped the Lasagna because family was in town - korean food for the whole weekend.
